This idea was more about putting price increase clauses into new customer contracts. Once it’s in the contract, implementing the price increase at renewal doesn’t require much proactive conversation since it’s already been agreed upon.
Yes but you are assuming customers even read the contract so the price hike might still come as a nasty surprise. Leading to some unpleasant conversations :)
