There are some interesting new tools like Stigg or Corrily that give folks a chance to change pricing, run tests, etc which is key to monetization. I’d also look at lifecycle email tools where you can run monetization awareness campaigns based on different signals.

I think 'ideal' is subjective. It depends on your growth stage, GTM motion and the use case needed :)
